Our students receive an exclusive International Certificate in Thalgo Cosmetics, available only at the Queensland School of Beauty Therapy. In our salon, we offer professional services using the elite Thalgo range.
Students are trained extensively in Thalgo Products. The Queensland School of Beauty Therapy is the only school in Queensland to incorporate advanced facial, body treatments and spa treatments to the International Certificate Level. Thalgo is a French range that was developed in 1960 by Mr Alain Dogliani. The first of many 'originals' for cosmetology was a worldwide patent for the Micronization of marine algae.
Thalgo has its laboratories in Roqueburne-sur-Argens on the Mediterranean Coast (near St. Tropez) in France. It is a manufacturing laboratory and all research and developments take place at their own facility and supplies more than 60 countries which has made them the largest exporter of professional skin care products from France.
The product is a dynamic range based on sea elements and plant extracts. It has an extensive home care range that is complimented by an even more extensive salon range. Covering face, sun and body treatments it incorporates specialised 'unique to salon/spa' treatments, including micro-dermabrasion.

Whilst studying at the Queensland School of Beauty Therapy, Students will have the opportunity to be exposed to the philosophies of other cosmetic companies. Product knowledge teaches the use of various cosmetics/beauty therapy products and associated techniques, as instructed by educational representatives of major cosmetic product manufacturers.
